I read an article on an oil spill. It said that the president did not have what he needed to clean up the spill. He is now working with another government and the oil company to find a solution to the problem.

I learned from the web site that 17 million kids are in dander of going hungry in America.

I also learned that hunger can weaken a child's immune system, and stop growth.

Because of her young age[she was 15 when she died] this statement may not be true. I believe this means that at any point in my life anyone could improve the world.

Dr. King said,"An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity." I believe he means the you are not truly living if you are only concerned about your self to live one must be involved in world affairs in order to start living. Dr. King was a very powerful speaker. He brings power to the quote.

Helping Haidi

I say the on the news and video on the internet that Haiti is under sapplied. I think conhigh should raise money and danate it to Haiti.

One of my difficulties from my first semester were on study island. I could not understand the point of using computers every thing except for researching.That is because the only thing on it that I know how to use is Google. I want to learn how to use other programs such as garage band.
